- Hike Cowles Mountain
- Hit the Little Italy Mercato for eggs from Schaner, ciabatta from Bread & Cie, cheese from Mary and George's new stall, succulents for potting, and whatever irresistible Spring produce I find.
- Do miscellaneous errands: grocery shopping, pick up dry cleaning, pick up vintage Famolares at the shoe repair, get the car washed.
- Stop by my favorite thrift store.
- Girl's night out at Okan.
- Sunday: Cook breakfast
- Read the NYTimes.
- Stop by Target to check out the new Eugenia Kim and Cynthia Vincent lines.
- Harvest, shell and blanch fava beans & make a puree with some Pecorino Romano and mint
- Make granola to eat with yogurt and berries for breakfast this week.
- Plant melon and tomato seedlings.
- Maybe, just maybe - write a real blog post!

ReplyDeleteRe: the thrift shop inquiries - I am sad to say it was nowhere near as good as it used to be this weekend, but I the thrift shop I'm referring to is the Disabled American Veteran's thrift store at Jamacha Rd. off the 125 in Spring Valley. There is also an AmVets store just up the hill (West) and to the left. I think thrifting has become a bit fashionable and thus the stores have been more "shopped out" lately. I've also become pretty picky since I have plenty of stuff. I love the randomness though - you just never know what you'll find!
