About Alice

Hi! I'm Alice. Yes, "Q" really is my middle initial. It is the first letter of my maiden name, which became my middle name when I got married.  I live in San Diego, California with the love of my life - a very funny and handsome man named James, and a sweet little mutt named  Lucy.  I started this blog in May, 2006 to chronicle  my  cooking and eating adventures.  I write about restaurants in San Diego and other cities I visit, and share recipes, travel adventures and other artsy tidbits I find inspiring.
